All too often any more you go to a store, (especially WalMart) and people seem to be in what I call a stupid daze. They just stand there blocking isles or two or three obese people shopping together stand there looking for one item and couldn’t care less that others are trying to get down the isle just to get the hell out of the store.
What makes it even worse now are the WalMart Staff shopping for people with those big carts that block up half the isle. They should have certain hours in which the people who are sick and tired of visiting the store for the above reason, (or they’re simply too lazy to shop) so normal people can go down the isles and get our shopping done.
The Berlin WalMart is by far the worst, especially summer time. I personally choose to go shopping very early in the morning now but I’m retired. Most people do not have such a luxury but it’s a big topic of conversation these days because of the isle traffic. Other local stores are just as bad in the summer. Most important, people these days are just flat out rude. They see you wanting to get down the isle, they know they’re blocking the isle and they just stand there in that stupid daze. Very rarely do you see people showing courtesy these days and make the attempt to get out of your way.
While there are solutions, every one of you experience the same thing. Just get the hell out of our way because unlike some of you we have lives and want to get the hell out of that store. Oh, to those of you wearing masks and gloves, thanks for the laugh.

Agree totally & Sam’s Club is worse the isles are wider and they leave their cart in the middle & glare at you if they see you trying to get by. What happened to courtesy in this country?

Yup, a bunch of morons standing there with no self -awareness and more time than brains.
The rest of us write a list (in the same order as the aisles) so we can get in and get the heck out.
If I am not sure of where something is, I usually find a spot out of the way and park my cart there.
It’s just common courtesy!

The foreigners are as worse…no respect for anyone. Mosey around and pay with any number of government issued debit cards.
I don’t let it bother me. As I am walking along, a polite ‘excuse me’ does the trick, and I announce that about 10 feet from them. When the cart is the issue, I simply take over the cart, push it out of the way so I may pass and move it gently to one side or the other. Of course I’m 6’6 and about 340 now, so that may have something to do with it. My daughter swears I’m going to get shot🤪
