Wicomico County is seeking applications from volunteers to serve on the Police Accountability Board.
Required by the Maryland Police Accountability Act of 2021, the Police Accountability Board meets quarterly with law enforcement chiefs to discuss policing matters. The scheduled meeting date is the third Wednesday of the month from 3pm to 5pm. If selected, the term of appointment will be for a full two-year term.
The Police Accountability Board application can be found on www.wicomicocounty.org. Any interested party should complete it electronically or it can be mailed or personally delivered to the Executive’s Office in the Government Office Building at 125 N. Division Street, Room 303. The application period will close (30 days from release)
How about criminal accountability? When does that come in to play?

in fact now if your pulled over for a DUI
you can drive off and refuse to get out of your car.
Police CANNOT FOLOW YOU under new rules of King Governor Wes Moore
In my humble opinion, we do NOT need a police accountabilty board; let the police do their job!
Untie the police’s hands and let them do their job and not have to worry bout being sued by some thug every time they look cross eyed at them.
