SALISBURY, Md. – Families can get ready for the upcoming school year at Fresh Start: A Wicomico County Back to School Event.
Fresh Start will be held Sunday, Aug. 26, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Wicomico Civic Center. The free event is a collaborative effort between numerous Wicomico County organizations.
“The Fresh Start event, with all the area partnerships and sponsors, is one that is extremely important for Wicomico County families,” says Paul Butler, Wicomico Public Schools Director of Communications. “It’s instrumental in getting thousands of our students prepared to take on the new school year.”

This event is first come, first served. No registration is necessary.

Want a fresh start? Pull your children from the satanic government Maoist indoctrination camps. If you are a teacher and you do not quit- you are complicit in evil.
Is this Teresa or Darren the Pedo? Or that fruitcake Paul Kennedy from Byvalve….cry harder…btw, Maoists are atheists, not satanists…get your terms right…
9:55 then you must be Michelle Gregory
No, its…James Winn…you caught me between my five daily beers and licking Julie’s toes…
11:35 – I’m complicit in evil because you say so? Give me a break. Painting the entire profession with a broad brush for the actions of a very few is just ridiculous. If you are so upset about the quality of teaching in this county, you are more than welcome to jump in, earn your degree (s) and change the perceived wrong. I know we have a few flakes but most of us are normal and very conservative. Do us all a favor and pitch in to help or shut up.
The recipients of anything free from this event will be 99% black and/or of Hispanic decent (many probably illegally in the country).
Hey James! Just remember free is not free ! Taxpayers are already paying for most of the ones who will take advantage of this. And James can you explain why all you free summer camps are in the city and on the westside of the city and nothing in eastern Wicomico county ? This is nothing more of let the babies momma dope and drink and get pregnant again while the current children have a taxpayer funded babysitter.
