Wait…I was under the impression that ALL public schools got their butt pumped full of nickels during the scan-demic! Where did all the “free” money go?
161K?
That’s It?
They need to get on board with the WCBOE – 161k is chump change. Go take a look at the Title I budget and have Kirby Bryson break it down by the penny – there is WAAAAAYYYYY more that 161k overspent in that department alone. Of course, it’s all covered up nice and neat by all the federal funding.
1:57 – spend, spend, spend – that’s always been the way. Anything not spent counts as money they won’t get the following year. Norm Conway told everyone (off the record of course so there was no trail) that if they didn’t spend it, the title 1 budget would shrink. This is just the same old thing. New guy won’t do anything different
I’d like to see these clowns run a real business. They wouldn’t last a week. Then, look at their salaries – over 100k each to waste money like a kid eats candy. Who do they think they are?
If it isn’t accounted for, item by item, line by line, the same thing will happen next year and beyond, increasing every year.
1:57 – Ole’ Kirbo ain’t got no answer for that – maybe he oughta ask Ashby for the answer.
