In an ongoing commitment to road safety and the protection of its citizens, the Maryland State Police
Berlin Barrack is launching a comprehensive initiative targeting impaired driving throughout the
month of June. This proactive campaign aims to curb the dangerous practice of driving under the
influence.
Taking place every Saturday in June, this intensified law enforcement effort will see a heightened
presence of troopers in Worcester County. Their primary focus will be to detect and apprehend
impaired drivers through increased patrols and targeted enforcement activities.
Impaired driving continues to be a significant threat to public safety in Maryland, causing preventable
accidents and tragic loss of life. By adopting this aggressive approach, the Maryland State Police
Berlin Barrack wants to send a clear message: driving under the influence will not be tolerated, and
those who choose to disregard the law will face the consequences.
The Maryland State Police Berlin Barrack is committed to ensuring that our roads are safe for all
residents and visitors. All drivers are strongly encouraged to take an active role in promoting road
safety by reporting suspected impaired drivers and by making responsible choices themselves.
Remember, if you plan to consume alcohol or other substances that may impair your ability to drive,
designate a sober driver, take a taxi or rideshare service, or use public transportation.
So much for this being a free country. We should be free to make our own choices about drinking and driving. Remember the Constitution?
11:47………….BS!!! The citizens of this country on the roads along with you, deserve to make their own decision to stay safe!!! Not plastered by some drunk. We want to make our own decisions to not be involved in an accident caused by you making your own decision to drink and drive.
1147….no. we normally here do make wise decisions. Its the folks who visit for the 12 week season who leave their senses on the west side of the bay bridge or coming into DE. They cause the problems, they feed the meters (if they can figure them out), they disobey because there isnt enough LEOs to watch all.
We know when to navigate out and around. We stay on the bayside on the weekends, we know where to eat, shop amd drink. We also know where not to frequent and which days are the worst. Our freedom is fine. Let others pay double triple or quadruple. Let them mess with LEOs. Saw a kids car this weekend that had writing on thd right windshield saying FUCK OCPD.
See, none of us would do that….and why the hell the attention? Stupidity at its worse and THEY are suppose to be our future leaders?
Its very bery early. After a very nice weekend with the gray beards and their cars….DAN projecting RAIN for Fri Sat Sun this weekend. Hahahahaha Rickie….hahahahahaha. this weekend was tight with gray beards and lack of help in the establishments. Bringing the element to town and raining this weekend .. well, we will enjoy the bayside as coastal highway and others will be packed.

Do not ever take the field sobriety test. Nobody will pass if the policeman doesn’t want them to. It’s a set up to fail and collect more evidence to use in the court room. Trust me, I know
