Earlier on Thursday, we wrote about St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner seeking a motion to dismiss the attempt to remove her from office. The process began on February 23 when the Missouri Attorney General’s office filed the quo warranto—which as my colleague Susie Moore explained, stemmed from “serious allegations of malfeasance on the part of her office”—after a request that Gardner resign immediately.
Then in late April, a St. Louis judge lowered the boom on Gardner, writing that her office was a “rudderless ship of chaos”:
Describing Gardner’s office as “a rudderless ship of chaos,” [St. Louis Circuit Judge Michael Noble] held that there was sufficient evidence to find that Gardner and Assistant Circuit Attorney Chris Desilets had acted with “intentional disregard for the judicial process” and announced that he would be appointing a special prosecutor to pursue a case of “indirect criminal contempt” against them both.
Garner’s filing failed on Thursday, however. But now, she has resigned.

I totally agree! It makes me ashamed that I live anywhere near Salisbury! Her comment was the most disrespectful, disgusting and ignorant I have heard. That article in the weekly paper in Salisbury sure did paint an ugly picture for the city! It makes it sound like the citizens of Salisbury are a bunch of homo thugs, not a city of majority Christians, that it truly is. The city council are a disgrace to Salisbury for not wanting Franklin Graham to come to our town. He is one of the truly good and godly men in this country. Name one bad thing he has ever done. Yes, he condems homosexuality, …….because the bible does!!
8:02 Spot on! I was born and raised in Salisbury. I have 2 years before I retire and then I’m moving out of Salisbury and Wicomico County. It can’t come fast enough. This once beautiful little city has become a cess pool thanks to liberal city and county leaders.
Liz Holland should be fired for printing the disgusting article in the Salisbury Independence paper. She is way off base. As she says “Let’s be clear”………………….Salisbury is a Christian city who do agree with Franklin Graham. She should try visiting some of Salisbury’s churches some Sunday and see they are pretty well filled up.
