6 Ford Models Made the List of the Least Reliable Vehicles, Per Driver Complaints

Ford’s models have roamed American streets for over 100 years, meaning there is no shortage of automaker’s used cars. However, not every Ford car, truck, SUV, or minivan is a winner. Check out these six potentially problematic Ford models with some of the most significant driver complaints, like the 2004 Ford Explorer, 2014 Focus, and 2014 Escape.

Are any of Ford’s vehicles reliable?

Many of Ford’s models are reliable and affordable alternatives to options from other legacy automakers like Chevrolet or Honda. However, these six models aren’t exceedingly reliable, per owner complaints:

  • 2002 Ford Explorer
  • 2004 Ford Explorer
  • 2014 Ford Focus
  • 2013 Ford Escape
  • 2012 Ford Focus

  1. Fix or repair daily
    Found on Russian Dump
    Found on Road Dead
The last Ford I owned was a 1985 TBird I bought new.
After one month the cruise control button dropped off in my hand.
I took it to Fuller Ford in Easton and they wouldn’t honor the service contract or warranty.
Car was only two months old.
Well you live and learn, so I never bought another Ford from them again.
I also paid for undercoating that the didn’t do and then tried to deny it when I took it in for my first servicing!

I now buy only Honda and Toyota. Better quality and they last!
