Maryland Republican Gov. Larry Hogan, unable to run for another term due to term limits, is holding two fundraisers on Wednesday to look for support and fund future political activity amid speculation of a possible 2024 presidential bid.
Hogan, looking to position himself as an “alternative” to former President Donald Trump, has two fundraisers scheduled for Wednesday at a hotel and casino outside Maryland’s state capital.
One of the events is supposed to launch his political action committee, Better Path Forward, while the other is to be held for his political organization, An America United, according to the organization’s executive director David Weinman.
Weinman said that he’s expecting the events to raise more than a million dollars.
Let’s set this straight in black and white for Hogan. DON’T run for president. You will not get much support. Ask O’Malley how his run for president ran. Embarrassing for him, victorious for the state he was supposed to represent. Same will be true for Hogan.

He will likely be looking for a long time. With Trump formally in the game now, the wild card is DeSantis. He is the only other potential candidate that has the chops and chutzpah to challenge Trump and be a real threat. The other part of this is who Trump will choose to be a running mate. It will be interesting none the less, but Larry Hogan hasn’t a chance in my opinion.

Larry Hogan is fleecing anyone who donates so much as a nickel to his fantasy campaign.
Had he been a staunch supporter of Republican principles while governor his path to nomination and election would be unlikely due to Maryland’s setting and political climate, and few electoral votes. Of course he did not pursue Republican principles and failed to vote for the last Republican president on both occasions when he could have. He squandered both of those votes and was not shy about it. So he has brass balls and mush for brains in soliciting votes and money from Republican voters.
He did a horrible job of helping his chosen replacement in the primaries because he was focused on his fantasy. When she lost, he actively worked against the Republican candidate. That’s political treason. He’s the ‘new’ McCain for the MSM, and who would be surprised if Liz Cheney endorsed him?
OweMalley had his street corner busking as a post governor and failed candidate diversion. Maybe they’ll bring back The Dukes of Hazzard so Larry can keep his Boss Hogg gig going. But election to anything more significant? Not gonna happen.
