I find it interesting how for the first time I can ever recall a state trooper parked on the road two people were recently killed. However, this is broad daylight and both hit and runs were at night.

Because police are useless. They’ll park a trooper there to give the appearance that they’re actually doing something about all of the recent accidents, when in reality they’re just paying some trooper overtime to sit in a car and watch videos on his phone.
Make the super Troopers go work at PRISON (ECI ) for Two years to earn their pay !!!!
They can write tickets all day in the prisoners !!!! Instead of on the Public !!!!!
No corrupt prison management don’t want their officers writing tickets on their inmates !
But on the outside free world the govt thinks it is good to write up taxpayers / citizens !!!!
It could be he/she is just sitting there filling out some paperwork. In today’s world it’s not safe for them to sit where there is a heavy amount of people.
If its a deterrent – then place an empty vehicle sit there. Make it all pretty and leave it there for a while. It will pose as a deterrent until everyone is regularly seeing it. Then move it.
Other states do the same.
And don’t resurrect the bucket trucks either. Talk about below par – awful leadership to impose that a couple summers ago.
