A new law will see owners of ATVs who illegally drive them on the road, face a greater penalty.
The law permits police to seize and destroy ATVs, dirt bikes, and similar vehicles if they are seen driving on roads or highways not meant for off-road vehicles.
The law was enacted in response to what officials say is a growing number of these off-road vehicles being driven on regular roads for traffic. Those in favor of the law say these vehicles are causing safety concerns for drivers and pedestrians.

Oh hell no, not here. Jake Day will probably put in another lane all over the damn town for em’. I can’t even drive my car around without getting confused as hell, in this maze of a town.
Salisbury MD needs the same law with vigorous enforcement
How about getting these hoods off the streets with their dirt bikes, blocking traffic, doing wheelies and driving dangerously first. Them and the scooters you see kids riding against traffic, weaving, running intersections, etc. Yes I’ve seen all of this, not making it up. Then the scooters are left any and everywhere. But nothing will be done until someone gets hurt badly or killed.
When you all gonna get it ?? Its not about ANY LAW Breakers !! Its About Pentying Hard Blue Collar Workers OR the Retired Ones !!! ..
Need to do the same thing here in Salisbury but Day & Duncan the infamous duo won’t being the wokes they are.
It’s about time something was done to these menaces. They are a danger to themselves and every body on the road. Something has got to be done. Just like in some of the rural areas, kids are riding 4 wheelers up and down the roads. They figure back roads are ok. It is not ok! It’s a public road. When one of them gets hit, it’s cryin’ time!
