God Bless The Humane Society of Wicomico County

These two almost have a fairytale ending but they just need one more thing… a forever home!
Hanzel and Gretyl came to us as strays picked up by city animal control. They were starved and thrown out like trash left to fend for themselves. Thankfully our wonderful ACO picked them up and brought them to safety. When we first got them, they were severely emaciated and covered in fleas like I have never seen before, but their tails still wagged like nothing was wrong.

  1. God bless the work that you do I have taken in many dogs over the years from the Humane Society and given them forever homes , and have adopted cats & kittens off the streets and provided them with their needs they ask for nothing but love in return for all that they give us. My cat that I have now we have had for about 3 years she came from The Cat Connection she had been abused and was so scared of us she hid under our sectional sofa for 4 days. Elsa is the love of our lives she loves everyone that comes to the house & they are shown where her treats are so she makes many friends. Please open your homes and hearts you will never regret one moment.

  2. Hats off to Kim Nock and her staff. This is the best humane society we have had in decades and the change in hands on the board of directors who hired dregs of the society to oversee operations has helped too.
