Hogan: Maryland GOP governor candidate not ‘mentally stable’

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) said this week that the GOP nominee running to replace him is not “mentally stable.”

“He’s not, in my opinion, mentally stable,” Hogan said of candidate Dan Cox while doing an interview on WGMD radio, according to The Washington Post.

Hogan added: “He wanted to hang my friend, Mike Pence, and took three busloads of people to the Capitol.”

Cox, a state delegate who has the endorsement of former President Trump, last year called former Vice President Mike Pence a “traitor” amid the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, where the gubernatorial candidate was present.

Cox apologized for that language during a legislative ethics inquiry, according to the Post.

  1. He should talk. A word to the wise. Whenever someone criticizes you with name calling and cruel taunts it’s sticks and stones. Criticizing someone means defending a position, what you might do different – selling your ideas. The left in this country and the RINOS like Hogan are doing nothing more than name calling.
    But America is waking up.
    MAGA

  2. Hogan was never mentally stable he ran after contacting cancer for sympathy vote as working in the medical field anyone with any sense knows there is ver noticeable weight loss. He never exhibited any and no mention of his condition or care in his term still to this date. He is a phony if he thinks he is presidential material he better think again. Cannot think of one thing he has accomplished NONE.

  3. larry the lecher why dont you take your dog eating wife and go where we dont ever have to see your fat face again! please just stfu!

  4. So let’s see if Hogan is a good friend of Mike Pence’s that sure does not make him somebody that I want as my friend. Just means what I have always been saying either that is not the real Hogan or he is definitely playing his part. Seriously wake the hell up People.

  5. Everytime RINO Larry opens his piehole he confirms anew why his political career is at an end. He could have been a much stronger governor, and could have been a viable candidate for the US Senate or House, where even a RINO would have been an improvement. Unfortunately, Boss Hogg’s ego won’t fit inside any of Maryland’s political boundaries so he’s off touring other states (jousting at windmills) instead of paving the way for a Republican successor.

His groundwork on behalf of his endorsed successor candidate was cringeworthy, largely due to his fixation on a DC address instead of the needs of Marylanders. Hogan could not be reelected, and who is the last successful Prez candidate who couldn’t carry his native state? None come to mind!

  6. I’d rather have Dan Cox a real republican not like Hogan who only pretended to be .RHINO I hope he retires to his wife’s native country and out of this country. Worst Governor Maryland has ever had go fat boy go you have no chance at any more jobs least of all a snowballs chance you know where for President.
