DC police arrest 15-year-old boy in Juneteenth shooting that left another teen dead, three injured

D.C. police said that the 15-year-old was charged with first degree murder

Police in Washington, D.C. arrested a 15-year-old-boy after a shooting on Juneteenth that left one person dead and three others injured, including a police officer.

The shooting happened at a Moechella event on June 19, Chase Poole, 15, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Among those shot was a police officer, who did not return fire in the crowded area. The injuries to the three adults were non-life threatening.

The Metropolitan Police Department announced Thursday the arrest of a 15-year-old boy who’s being charged with first-degree murder while armed. He is being held at the Juvenile Processing Center.

  1. We need guns laws to stop this. Sad day when a 15 year old can walk into a gun store and buy a weapon of war. Brains aren’t developed until 26. With the exception of trans operations that can be done at 3 for obvious reasons. Protect Ukraine.

    1. 2:09 / What we need is parents to do their job. If they’re going to breed, they need to properly raise thier offspring. There are already plenty of laws to prevent this type of thug behavior. No legitimate gun store is going to risk losing their license and business by sell any kind of firearm to a 15 year old punk. How would a new gun law prevent this, what makes you think a criminal will follow a new law?
