Another property in disrepair on another main road in which the county and its elected officials do nothing about it. These ignorant elected officials don’t represent the people. They’re bought and paid for to simply represent the Good Ol’ Boys and to hell with the rest of the public and its taxpayers. They are in office as embarrassments to the Eastern Shore. It’s no wonder we’re called a shithouse. Think about it. This topic has been one of the biggest stories in quite some time. Have you heard a word from ANY of the candidates about it, No. Have you seen the local press bring it to any ones attention? No! They’re all bought and paid for by the Greater Salisbury Committee and other local organizations/groups.
It’s not just our entire country getting screwed by its own government, it’s also our local representatives screwing us with BS speeches and words the public wants to hear but nothing is ever done. Just how many times can we allow our representatives to screw us. Then they come up with the “broken window” theory. Give me a break! How many “broken windows” do I have to keep showing you BS artists?
They’re counting on the fact that most voters are too stupid to replace them. If a local voters recognizes the name they must be good, right? There’s too many “that’s the way we always dun it” people around here.
Dilapidated old houses, churches, buildings on private, county, property is nothing new in Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester, etc.…. I suspect most county code’s don’t specifically address it, because it’s not top priority? Incorporated cities can certainly address these types of issue but, again, I suspect it’s not a top priority for them either.
