Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) said Thursday she is “ashamed” that Republicans are questioning the FBI’s credibility after it raided former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago.
“I have been ashamed to hear members of my party attacking the integrity of the FBI agents involved with the recent Mar-a-Lago search,” she claimed. “These are sickening comments that put the lives of patriotic public servants at risk.”
Cheney’s remarks follow multiple investigations into Trump, including the Russia hoax and two impeachment trials. Before that, the FBI looked the other way in 2016 regarding Hillary Clinton’s 33,000 acid-washed emails.
After Monday’s raid of Mar-a-Lago, many Republicans have questioned the FBI’s credibility. Longtime Cheney foe and anti-globalist foreign policy wonk Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) has slammed the FBI’s raid as “outrageous and unjust.”

She should be shamed, but for a whole world of different reasons. She is a disgrace to her family and to this country.
Her shame over this doesn’t hold a candle to the
shame we feel over her presence.
As best I can recall Liz was a generally inconsequential House member representing Wyoming. Had a famous daddy. That’s it. But after Pelosi’s ascension Republicans seemed to think the optics would be better if they had a female leader in their midst during photo ops. Voila, she was suddenly in the #3 leader slot. And from that perch she was a great capture for Pelosi and co-conspirators when she voted against the President. Agreeing to be on the J6 kangaroo court was just sprinkles on Pelosi’s ice cream. Liz is toast, but Joe & Nancy will find her a sinecure. Who knows, mebbe she’ll be Kamala’s replacement on the Uniparty ticket? Stay tuned!
