SALISBURY, Md. – Cove Road Beach in Bivalve will close temporarily for a shoreline restoration project beginning Monday, Aug. 15.
The project aims to resolve shoreline and stream bank erosion problems at the park.
For safety reasons, the public will not be permitted on Cove Road Beach during the closure.
Updates on the project, including reopening details, will be posted to the Wicomico Recreation & Parks website at www.WicomicoRecandParks.org.
They are closed more than they are open. There are hardly any places to go swimming around here.
Restoration? Rickie…..Rickie BEERinhan. Why isnt there live coverage via TV of the 49th Annual White Marlin Open? Only tournament in the USA. Yet we can only see it online or with a few bars streaming it. HELLO old ass. 21st Century…..roaring 20s…..and no marketing….no LIVE coverage on the disastrous Comsuck stations? Why NOT utilize ur 20th century tech gov stations to show it LIVE? Dew Tour was NBC yet u messed that up wantijg more money. NBA GOAT Michael Jordan is here……..spend a little to get a little.
Nov cant come fast enough……10 yrs of inability to fill ur hotels midweek.
Tiny time.
Why can’t this wait until the fall when people are not going to the Cove ? Doing beach restoration during peak summer just does not make any sense.
