Since Tuesday’s tragic shooting in Uvalde, Texas, Democrats across the country have blamed the shooting on guns and the lack of gun control policies, politicizing the deaths of 19 children and two teachers.
However, families of victims of past mass shootings disagree with that sentiment.
On Wednesday, the father of a Parkland, Florida, school shooting victim told Fox News that government leaders have not “learned anything” from past school shootings. He insisted that expanding gun laws is not the solution to preventing future shootings.
“Evidently, they didn’t learn anything,” said Andrew Pollack. His daughter Meadow was killed at her school in Parkland in 2018.
Pollack referenced another shooting in a Texas school that left ten dead and noted that more could be done to increase security in schools in all the instances.
“They didn’t learn anything from what happened in Texas at that school shooting; they didn’t learn anything from what happened in Parkland at that shooting, they didn’t learn anything from what happened at Sandy Hook,” Pollack exclaimed. “When you focus on just gun control, this is what happens. It’s happened again.”
What is the ANSWER though? Gun Culture is just reaching ridiculous heights. Did you see the fashion show at the NRA Convention? It was like Ru Pauls hide your piece Drag Race. Gun girdles Gun thongs Gun jockstraps Gun pocketbooks holstered pantyhose and GOGO boots. None of which really presented any sort of quick drawl advantage in any confrontation. I grew up with guns. I collect and like guns but I still refuse to believe I need to leave my home armed as any sort of equalizer or piece of mind for my safety. I see people carrying and look at them and think I could knock them out before they reached around their fat ass with their fat short arms and drew on me. Regulate assault weapons and keep them out of the hands of DISTURB children. You LOOK at all the shooters in these events and wonder why their parents did not realize they had socially retarded and volatile ticking time bombs on their hands. No one wants to admit their child is a potenial Monster but they are OUT their. Jails are full of them. I have friends that have spent their life savings on kids I could see when they were children were just animated abortions and inferior conceptions. Wired with ticks and rage and frustrated cruelty in their genetic make up.
I have seen potential time bomb kids too. The more reason to carry. The length in time of a mass shooting from a bad guy depends on when a good guy with a gun arrives “and does something.”
Common SENSE cops with some Backbone are the answer !!!!
