Maryland charges $0.368905 per gallon in taxes…. Delaware is $0.23…. So why is gas not cheaper in Delaware?

  1. Cause Delaware is so awesome to live in. Two lane roads, constant traffic, tourons, well worth the extra gas money!

  2. On WBFF channel 45, 6pm news, they reported that the state of Maryland will be giving us a gas tax holiday for at least one month or longer if needed. So, supposedly, we should see a 30 cent reduction in the price of gas. I haven’t see it yet, but on the map they showed us, the eastern shore counties have some of the highest prices in Maryland right now.
Saw nothing about this on WBOC! Delaware’s news leader!

    1. Yeah what I found odd was that the Eastern Shore was normally about 10-20 cents lower than the national Average but lately its about 10 – 20 cents abovee the National Average.

  3. It absolutely dumbfounds me that Biden is trying to blame this on the Russians or Trump. He wrecked the entire economy, made a mockery of our great country, and is solely responsible for the ruin and destruction of the middle class.

  4. Bill oil large and always in charge. Barrels of oil being traded today is for 2 months for now, yet when that price increases there is an immediate reaction at the pumps. When there is a hurricane in the gulf, we see prices go up.

Why does the summer time always see higher prices? We are told because folks go on vacation. Hmmm ok, so from June until mid August we all travel more cuz schools are closed. But does that mean all we travel more? Schools are closed during that time so no schools.buses are running, no sports events. Yet from Sept until May ALL schools and activities are full throttle and WE all are getting to work.

Yet prices go up from and the reason is more demand……

Big oil large and in charge controling the narrative and we all believe and pay it.

  5. People here learn from Ocean City governess. They ask their bus drivers for a 3 year record of their driving record EVERY YEAR. Duh!

  6. Oil like Gold is just another commodity. Both of their pricing is perceived it has nothing to do with the actual cost of acquisition thereof and the supply chain of deliverance. What’s confusing is how in the last thirty years it has become the benchmark canary in the coal mine barometer of our economy. People should be so concerned with the air and water they will soon be watching the price of.
