A while back I wrote an article about some stores short changing customers by saying they don’t have the proper change, mainly pennies, and then asking if that’s okay. Most people simply say okay and move on. It happens at Wal-Marts in our county but then I also found out it also happens at Wal-Mart in Waldorf. Then it happened at a local Dollar Store. Now it’s happened at the McDonalds at the Commons Shopping Center. This time it was four cents at the drive through and my wife had to go inside to get it straightened out. The employee didn’t look at the receipt, just went to the register and took out four cents. Then another male employee, quite large, simply had to put his two cents in and started arguing. He definitely didn’t leave a good expression with anyone.
This is not what we expect at McDonalds but is common in a Banana Republic. I don’t know if any of you have had actual experiences in a Banana Republic but our county is sure starting to resemble what happens in one. Does anyone else run into this situation in stores lately?
It was a frequent thing at the beginning of covid, but I have not had an issue with this in some time.

I have started carrying a handful of pennies for whenever I pay in cash – I am getting rid of the pennies and making them give me quarters in change…..
Yes and I make it a point to put .49 cents in my pocket every day for the past 2 years just for the same reason

It’s all my fault…. If the chance is no more than 50cents at the drive through, I leave it. Money is a prime carrier of disease. If I receive bills or change,, I wipe them with alcohol hand cleaner.. OK, I’m obsessive, but I haven’t been sick from contagious disease for many years…. 90 years old and stable.
I receive my change, don’t sanitize it, and I haven’t been sick either.

Take pennies with you, and make em’ count them out. They’re making good wages to do a job.

What is the real banana rep. in Wicomico is how the County Council is now run by 3 democrats (McCain, Hastings and Davis) and the RINO Cannon. They want to increase the executives’s salary by almost 50 percent, but the 3 real republican members (Dodd, Acle and Holloway) are not going along, and at least 5 votes are needed. The increase is the brainchild of Mike Dunn and the Greater Salisbury Committee and Chamber of Commerce, along with Memo Diriker.
Davis and Psota who are running to be the executive support the huge pay raise.

What bothers me the most is that these poor store clerks are so brain dead from wearing these masks that most of the clerks will not even count the $ back to you they just shove the change back at you and you had better count it or you are going to be short changed because a good many of them act like they could care less.
I actually don’t blame them because nobody should be forced to function all day with a stupid mask cutting off their air supply and in turn damaging their immune system. Get the damn masks off and retake your rights. The masks are not protecting anybody only harming the wearer. Argue with me if you want I really don’t give a damn anymore, i am past the point of no return with these fools wanting to control us, bottom line is the Government does not care if you live or die they would prefer that you die so please wake the hell up before it is too late for you.
