The public works department is seriously short-staffed right now. Just getting the routine stuff done, like street maintenance, trash pickup, recycling, etc., is currently a manpower challenge. On top of that, there’s rumored to be a leadership shakeup.

If Jake Day can gather tons of people to paint rainbow crosswalks in downtown Salisbury, does anyone think he couldn’t get volunteers to do the decorating? Stop allowing these Liberal hacks to continue drastically changing our beloved American traditions and beliefs. I mean, seriously, is everyone truly happy with what we clearly see is the future for our children in 10+ years?
This is not true I remember when we paid the same for trash pick up twice a week. Police don’t even arrest someone for shooting up your home-Chief DuncanSPD “Chief Hug A Thug”. Street sweepers more times from Easter-Xmas than rest of year. All not personnel shortages just lazy, incompetent City Council & Mayor.
Today’s Frederick is much more affluent than it used to be, given that its new status as a major growth Beltway bedroom community has brought huge tax $$$ to the area.

I heard the fire dept was told NOT to put lights on the poles. The mayor’s minion wanted those little Merry and Bright flags on the poles instead. Businesses have not turned on the white lights at the tops of their buildings this year either. The lights are still there—just not on. Vote that man out of office ASAP!
