If the mayor restores anti-crime units to police department
Prominent leaders of a Black Lives Matter group in New York City promised violence if Mayor-elect Eric Adams brought back the city’s anti-crime units.
“If he thinks that they’re going to go back to the old ways of policing, then we are going to take to the streets again,” Hawk Newsome, who co-founded Black Lives Matter of Greater New York, told the New York Daily News.
“There will be riots, there will be fire and there will be bloodshed because we believe in defending our people,” Newsome promised.
The anti-crime unit was a division of the New York Police Department (NYPD) that used plainclothes officers to investigate and respond to violent crime. The unit was shut down in June 2020 following the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

A threat of violence and bloodshed should be a charge of jail time if you or I did it we would serve time why is everything BLM threatens and does overlooked because they feel oppressed. Well I guess the settlers that landed on Plymouth Rock oppressed the Indians already there but did that race declare war on this country. How many centuries did the Jews punish the Germans for what was done to them during Hitler’s s reign the answer to all the above is none it is just history but BLM wants to punish white people till eternity. We learn from our mistakes in history but we don’t use it as threats to murder, destruct property, defund the police, and tear down businesses and burn cities. Millions have been oppressed but we move on and work together to make changes and find ways to unite and stand together as Americans.
