After over a decade of challenging the public school system by exposing political indoctrination, waste, fraud, and abuse, Darren Lombardo has decided to run for Wicomico County Board of Education At Large to represent the citizens of the entire county. Mr. Lombardo is ready to go in and bring real solutions to the table and be a strong leader in education that our children and parents deserve.

He may have a rude awaking. He needs to learn what school board members can do and cannot do. For example: BOE members cannot call principles and talk to them, BOE members cannot go into the schools… BOE members have no say in the day to day operation of the schools. BOE members had no knowledge or imput in the change to block scheduling. BOE members spend about 25-30 hours a month on BOE business. It is not a one meeting a month job. There is daily reading, committee meetings to attend, work sessions and community events to attend.
He’s a whack job that is running with Acle because they both have an agenda to take over the Wicomico County Public School system.
You are 100% correct, 3:40 pm. I don’t trust them as far as I can throw them and I’ve heard enough about her. She has been fighting the BOE for several years trying to get free IEP for her child and they always deny it. That’s why she has an agenda and convinced Lombardo to run.

Well, if their agenda is to restore the public education system to a decent learning environment, and not a war zone where they are indoctrinated with CRT, Implicit Bias, learning about the many new gender identities, or being required to wear useless masks to make ppl feel safer, then let’s vote for them. I’m here because I saw the link posted on that Delmarva Conservative Movement that I joined. They are backing Julie Giordano, a school teacher, who wants to run for County Executive. I’m sorry but what experience does this school teacher have to run a county of 106,000 citizens? None. No more than the unemployed Carl Anderton has! We need a real Republican leader to step up to the plate and run for county executive.

Maybe that’s what the county needs, someone who is a constitutionalist, that will protect our freedoms within the county and steer the county with the citizens in mind, not their own personal desires. It is my understanding that is her desire.. She is conservative and isn’t a career politician. That’ll make you raise an eyebrow and take notice all by itself. How do you know she doesn’t have the experience or qualifications to fill the Office of County Executive.
