Speaking of California, let’s talk about how Salisbury under Mayor Jake Day is striving at all levels to be San Francisco east. Jake’s major accomplishments include bike paths that no one uses and cause accidents, a round about that the numerous relocated Haitians living in Pemberton Manor struggle to navigate, free-roaming chickens, and now efforts towards tiny houses for the homeless and urban butterfly gardens. All this while there were multiple shootings over the weekend and what looks to become a double homicide Monday in broad daylight Never mind the multiple armed robberies and burglaries in the past two weeks, none of which local media will cover in any depth for fear of offending the mayor who has threatened to cut them off for any bad press. Let’s ignore that the police department is in shambles so much so that they recently begged veteran commanders to apply for a senior leadership position only to hand it to the guy they had no confidence in and was beyond unqualified (Ryan Koerner) because no one wanted to work for the current administration in that capacity. They’ve painted BLM propaganda on public streets, pushed LBTGQ propaganda every chance they’ve gotten, lied about attendance at the Folk Festival, and ostracized and intentionally eradicated any opposition voice. Effectively mind you. Where is the media asking for the findings of how a six-figure theft happened under police chief Barbara Duncan (the report is done)? Where is the accountability for those in charge who allowed multiple criminals to go free due to their negligence? Where are the charges for malfeasance? How about the follow-up for the captain who lied and ordered subordinates to lie so that the police department could get re-accredidation? Has anyone asked CALEA if they knew about the unsecured property room and the lies? Nope. Salisbury has become a perfect little microcosm of the liberal ideal that is San Francisco… government can’t be questioned, it is retaining power through slight of hand and distraction, and it is ruining our community in a selfish power grab while refusing to acknowledge or deal with the important things that affect us all. Call Jake the next time you need a butterfly or a bike lane. When you need to not be robbed or killed, feel safe while shopping, or generally have a city you can be proud of, check elsewhere. San Francisco east is here to stay and no one will tell you. Look around and see for yourself or remain oblivious. It’s a personal, and voter choice.

This article is so very true. I just cannot honestly believe anyone in their right mind voted for this boy mayor, it was stolen just like Biden stole the presidency. Corrupt government is exactly what it is called. People who vote, please get the facts and dig into them before casting your vote. This crap of a mess we are in right now is because you are too damn free with your votes and believe the rash of bull you are fed by these criminals. Yes, criminals. Stealing is a criminal act. Vote responsibly!! Ask questions. I’m really tired of damn bike lanes, roundabouts that make absolutely no sense whatsoever, a police department that cannot do their job correctly, rainbows and gardens everywhere. Next they’ll be wanting to construct unicorn statues. Think before you vote and vote responsibly!!!!
Jake is NOT here for you. Jake Day is here to win approval of the liberal SU faculty and the liberal aging Boomer NPR listeners on the shore. That’s why he doesn’t care about the failure of the Folk Festival. The people who listened to it on WSCL are ALL here cares about. The smug SU professor who says we need radical change is who he cares about. So long as they can sing his praises on Facebook and at Ward Museum get-togethers, he thinks his job is done.
Salisbury is getting more federal dollars and guess what plans he has for it? Yup. you got it. More specialized bike route. Salisbury, you deserve what you voted for!

Don Messick is the biggest supporter of Biden and the Fire Dept. worships this ass. Just wanted people to know that Jake is terrible , but many other idiots have surrounded us.
Do the Haitians in Pemberton manor have children? If so, are they enrolled in Wicomico county Public schools? If so, how much is their cost which is being paid by us taxpayers. Who is responsible for placing them there?
Jake is worse than all that he is gay and keeps marrying wives to keep up family appearances. He is fake to the core. He is best friends with all the slum lords in Salisbury, our city looks worse since he took office . The city of Salisbury in the Princeton Homes area to the Presidents Neighborhood area, to North Salisbury north Rt 13 looks like the worst slums in Maryland. He has taken away pride in neighborhoods and replaced it with trashy houses and yards, where cars are parked in front yards, sofas and abandoned furniture on porches everywhere, green mold on the siding of many old homes, porches falling off houses, foundations crumbling on many, many houses, weeds and weed trees cover windows, they actually even grow out of gutters to the highth of trees. Sidewalks are sinking into the ground up to a foot in areas, fences have more missing boards than they have actual structure. The Elks Club grounds look like they are surrounded by chain link fences with no structure. Our cemeteries look like the ones in horror stories, long forgotten and make it look like a place surviving families wouldn’t want to visit. Their is a house on Vine Street near the Salvation Army that looks like a backdrop for Night of the Living Dead. The Dollar General on Rt 13 North is so nasty and it is not an old store the floors look like they are covered in molasses but it’s just dirt from neglect. We need a team of building inspectors that really work by first getting out of the cars and doing THEIR JOB. If we had a good mayor he and the Salisbury City Council would address these issues and they have a nerve still holding these City Festivals in this dirty, nasty excuse of a city. Wake up someone please post real pictures of this city so something gets done. Maybe send some drones all over the city and post the pictures on this blog!!!!!!

Why is this so surprising? I have said for 20 years MARYLAND is the CALIFORNIA of the EAST. Everyone has been calling me crazy, insane, crazy and I don’t know what I am talking about.
