In the last 3 days Wicomico County has had 119 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19. Wicomico County has a total of 9,747 total cases. 8,984 have recovered, 542 home recovering, 24 hospitalized, sadly 1 more death for a total of 197 deaths. (52 total hospitalized in TidalHealth with Covid-19)Thoughts and prayers are with these families during this very difficult time.
9747 cases since when? Are they doing this by year or just when the first case was identified here in the county. There are more people that die of cancer and heart disease in a year that 9747. Should everyone be given chemo as a preventative?
Exactly what I was thinking, the 9,747 is based on what period of time? Of that 9,747 about 197 have died. That, so far, is 98 survivable not counting the people who are currently hospitalized (a potential for maybe 24 deaths at the most if none recover)
Perhaps we should all be given heart meds and blood thinners just in case we have heart disease?
Maybe we should all wear diapers so that others who piss their pants will feel more secure?
The “one more death”: was that WITH Covid or FROM Covid and what other co-morbidities did the patient have? And, I agree with 453 pm, none of these numbers mean a thing without the context of time frames, monthly averages or SOMEETHING!
Look up the weather on your phone, scroll down to the “flu report” and read the “no report” that’s been there for the last two years. So, miraculously, without any medicinal cure, the seasonal flu has finally been cured! Just AMAZING how this could happen without any help from our most holy CDC!
