Jake Day’s new e-scooter program is littering the landscape all over the city and the county. The first bike is dumped on Milford Street in front of the doctors offices, the second one is dumped on S. Division St. near College Ave. in front of SU’s parking lot and the third one is at the intersection of Snow Hill Rd. and East Vine St. Didn’t Jake Day learn from his failed e-bike program? Didn’t Jake Day learn from his failed bike paths that no one uses! Most people will ride a bike before they would a scooter so what makes Jake Day think someone would want to ride a scooter if they didn’t want to ride his bikes? This proves that Jake Day is out of touch with his constituents and very out of touch with reality! Two more failed ideas of Jake Day’s! When are people going to realize that Jake Day really isn’t “doing great things for Salisbury?”

Just saw a whole pile of them on a roll back on N division st. in Fruitland. Guess they were either lost or that program is done!!
I see Homies riding them around the County and City…
they toss them down, and go elsewhere
seen them way out on pemberton drive. I’m sure they are good for the environment that’s why so many end up in the river! totally clueless. always wondered why people elect such mental morons like this? politics is a dirty business and it attracts some of the worst so called human beings on the planet!
Should really look into the cost of those bike paths…that money could have repaved several roads. Driving around Salisbury is like driving on the moon there are craters everywhere. Potholes, uneven rail road crossings, cracks for days, why not fix problems instead of creating new ones?
Are they told to park them blocking off sidewalks? What if a blind person were to walk into a row of them? Who is going to be responsible?
How about that? Especially since so many city intersections have been improved for handicapped crossings.
Who’s liable for damages when one is sitting there, minding its own business, and someone picks it up and throws it through a windshield?
Things that make you say “Hummm…….”
Colorful city though!
And what about them just leaving them in the street so that other “cyclists” can run into them causing a fatal accident! Jake Day is a Jack Ass!
I saw one on the side of the road on Isabella St as I went in to work. A day later there was a second one left in the same spot right along side the first one which had not been picked up yet. Then the day after there was a third.
So three scooters laying on the side of the road next to each other. Who ever picks them up must not do their rounds very often.
I have also seen a couple left on the sidewalk on Division St. as well.
A failure of leadership.
Future Lt. Governor Running mate of Peter Franchot. Franchot had a Fundraiser Wednesday night at EVO in Ghettobury with Gay Day as the “special guest.” Josh Hastings told me he went!
If anyone is likely to ride either they would own one and use it. Does he think we have tourist here? Very sad that this once clean town is covered with cheap murals, plus it’s confusing for motorists that pay to use street to watch these lanes that aren’t used by bikes. Not to mention the ludicrous zig zag curbs that jump out at you. The roundabout on Riverside drive is the worst I’ve ever been through. This place reminds me of going to just Baltimore when I was young, seeing all the beer signs in the outside of businesses. That gave me a lasting impression of the place, trashy.
Excellent point!
Saw one dumped behind CVS yesterday.
At the library a man was getting out of his car when a car came speeding by and missed him by inches. Bike lanes protected near curb but library patrons parking near traffic lane seem to be at risk.
Have you tried to make a right turn from Main St to N. Division in a full size pickup?
Curb jumpers R us!!!
People look at you like you did something wrong!?
By the way, be very careful on N. Division, especially in the morning. The TRUCKS that deliver to the thriving downtown businesses have no where to park/unload without blocking an entire travel lane.
Sounds like top shelf planning to me! But I know I’m dumb! Knowing it’s half the battle!
The mare sports the title of “Urban Planner”. That’s the real joke!
Jake Day…
What. An. Idiot.
while the crime rate spirals out of control, he’s buying scooters?
Glad I don’t live there….
