White House Admits Democrats Lack Votes for $3.5 Trillion Reconciliation ‘Infrastructure’ Proposal

The White House admitted Wednesday that Senate Democrats lack the votes to pass the $3.5 trillion reconciliation “infrastructure” framework agreed upon Tuesday evening.

“If there were enough votes for each of these priorities there would be a vote and it would have happened,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said about the two track infrastructure proposals the Democrats are attempting to pass, one via filibuster- immune reconciliation and the other by a traditional vote.

    Reminds me of the expense being shelled out for the 3rd Bay Bridge. $5M so far and……………..we will still be talking about it in 20 years.

    Build the damn thing, like you should of 20 years ago. Better yet – do move it down south and cross over at Cambridge. Those with big heads have predict population growth of over 50% by 2035 in the mid atlantic/NE corridor. Another crossover is badly need now. The more you wait, the worse traffic gets
