More than A QUARTER of COVID-19 patients are experiencing symptoms such as fatigue and shortness of breath at least six months after recovering, study finds

More than a quarter of COVID-19 patients say they are experiencing symptoms several months later, a new study suggests.

Researchers looked at data on more than 400 people who tested positive for the virus and had since recovered.

They found that 26.4 percent still had symptoms six to eight months after first being being diagnosed with fatigue being the most common symptom.

The team, from the University of Zurich in Switzerland, says the results leave many questions unanswered about so-called ‘long-haul Covid’ including who is more at risk or why it develops in the first place.

  1. I had it back in December. I lost my sense of smell for a few months and I do have fatigue now.
Usually hits me like a ton of bricks around 7pm. Usually don’t pass out like that, but happens just about every day. I’m fine otherwise. I stayed home when I had it and slept in the recliner to keep from coughing. Cough lasted for about three weeks and then I got better. Took extra Vitamin C and D and Zinc.

  2. Saw the Dr the other day. Asked him how things were going. He said he’s seen folks many sinus infections over the last 30-60 days. I laughed and said of course you have, masks aren’t needed anymore. When we wore them for over a year – no flu, no sinuses. Common sense.

**point – lame stream will start pushing the FLU shot soon enough** if follows the script when kids go back to school (need supplies), holiday season (air and car travel) and FLU shots!

    Lather, rinse, repeat
