Yesterday, the FBI asked people to report their family members for “suspicious behaviors.”
The FBI and our government have certainly said similar things before. Remember the Department of Homeland Security’s “If You See Something, Say Something” campaign? It’s worth noting that the 2015 booklet that they reference seems primarily geared towards stopping Islamic extremists. We could even add that yes, in certain unusual circumstances, you probably should report your friend or family member to the FBI. For example, the first thing listed in the booklet is creating a martyrdom video and the sixth is communicating that they intend to engage in violent action with justification for doing so. If your brother is making a martyrdom video talking about how he looks forward to giving his life in a suicide attack for Allah or your disturbed son is talking about how he intends to murder everyone at this school Columbine-style next Tuesday, please do call the police and/or the FBI to try to get some help.
But that’s not what’s happening here, and both Biden and AG Merrick Garland have pushed the bogus narrative that “white supremacist terrorism” is more common than Islamist terrorism.
