Homicides Nearly Double in Maryland County Bordering Washington, DC

Prince George’s County, Maryland, is experiencing nearly double the homicides in 2021 than occurred in 2020.

The county, bordering Washington, DC, has “seen 63 homicides as of June 21, compared to 35 at the same time in 2020, according to Prince Geroge’s County Police Department data.”

“We want you to feel safe in every corner of our community and to actually be safe,” Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks said Monday in regards to a pregnant woman being murdered and children killing each other.

The new Police Chief of Prince George’s County, Malik Aziz, who was brought in from Dallas to focus on community policing tactics, has taken note of the surge in violence and created a new plan to combat crime until September 7, dubbed “Operation Heatwave.”

“We’ll ask what they [young people] want, and then we’ll try to partner with others who can give it, because we realize they can sometimes do it better than the police department,” Chief Aziz explained. “But, we’re going to be a partner in all the things that are good in moving youth forward.”

  1. I have lived there – it’s becoming a third-world-shit-hole more and more every day!
Too much section 8 housing, traffic, drugs, and crime!

They keep electing handouts instead of trying to actually fix it… Yes, it is repairable – with will and effort…neither of which is available there!

  2. PG county has always had issues. Most of the people that are living and causing the problems in PG county originally lived in DC. As they get rid of the bad sections of DC they move to PG County.

  3. The really good news in the rise of murders all over the country is that it is 98% one race and they are the root problem of just about everything in this country!

  4. I too did a pit stop there in the 70s….saw the change coming and beat feet. The only difference today, its worse. See ya, wouldnt want to be ya!

  5. I work there now and say first hand that the only way to turn that place around is hire about 100K Cops and turn them loose to crack down on every crime element with the laws already on the books. If you did that, then the place could easily turn around. Unfortunately I don’t see that happening with their current leadership.

  6. There is no “fix” to this expanding problem.

We are not going to hire more police and the ones who do stick around aren’t going to go into some of those ghetto areas and enforce the law.
They would face being killed or fired for touching a black criminal.

I lived in Prince George’s county for years. Some of the best shopping malls in the country are now run down ghetto dumps where white people risk their lives and property just going there. Entire communities that used to be white and well-maintained are now predominately black and are also ghetto dumps. Residents don’t work, throw trash anywhere they might be standing, and the schools?? Havens of illiteracy.
    Crime is off the charts.
It is entropy. The place is ever expanding into the surrounding areas as white people flee the robberies, car thefts, break-ins, gun violence, and schools that don’t teach anything except how bad white people are and how much white people have caused their abject misery.
Its been happening in Salisbury for years, too.

Buy guns and ammo. Entropy is gaining strength and if you are unarmed, you will be nothing other than another victim.
    Don’t say you weren’t warned.
