These bike lanes and round-abouts are a joke, unsafe, and totally DUMB. I’m in Salisbury several times each week and I have NEVER seen a bike riding in the bike lane of the screwed up Waverly Drive. He and his group have really created far more problems than they cured.
You won’t see a bike in any of those areas. Bikers have more sense than put themselves in harms way. They are like foot traffic, path of least resistance. A wise man once told me, they put up a building and pay engineers to map out a path. He said leave it blank until people cut a path and then place the sidewalk. Can you imagine being on a bicycle where the cyclist is between two vehicles. A example is Northbound in front on Wendy’s at Rt 13. & College Ave. You have motorists on their phone to the left and jerks rubber necking in the right hand turning lane. I wouldn’t put myself in the bike lane between drivers on both sides if I were wearing a Armored Suit. Just my two cents worth. Must make sense because I’ve never seen a bike in the lane. You start riding bikes as a child and figure out how to get where you want. You don’t need city “leaders” dictate your path while spending your money to do so. Oh, we don’t need a blm ( domestic terrorist organization) having a Skreet named reference them. What a damn disgrace and embarrassment. Ask anyone you know.

What’s up with Fitzwater Street and those weed filled, concrete islands that have narrowed the street to where two cars can barely squeeze by. That road has been under construction for years and they have not fixed the flooding problem yet. Just an example of liberals never getting anything right.
