Baltimore’s City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby claims to be a leader in criminal justice reform, but many of her policies and actions follow what other so-called progressive prosecutors have already implemented across the country.
In March of 2020, Mosby said she would stop prosecuting what she calls “minor crimes” which includes trespassing, prostitution and certain drug crimes.
But the policies seem to copy a social experiment being carried out by like-minded prosecutors in a few other major cities across the country.
Last week, FOX45 News’ Operation Crime & Justice made the trip to Philadelphia to see how similar policies to Mosby’s are working and if we could see the same results.
For nearly 4years now, the policy in Philadelphia has been to stop prosecuting certain low-level crimes, including prostitution and some drug possession charges. Policies implemented by the city’s District Attorney, Larry Krasner.
“He stopped prosecuting the drug addicts but he’s got to go after the drug dealers more,” said Philadelphia resident Eric Leon. “Because it’s like every corner.”
Leon, who lives near the city’s Kensington Ave corridor, says issues like open-air drug dealing, prostitution, and violence have been left to flourish since Krasner took office.
“It’s just too many drugs, prostitution, drug dealing, and robberies,” Leon said.
Last year, the city had 499 murders, the most in 30 years. So far this year, statistics show Philadelphia is on track to hit more than 600 homicides.

That is why there is a black on black genocide going on in Baltimore city and if they were better shots 1000’s of blacks would die this year at the hands of other blacks. Blacks like living like this though and love seeing their young murdered otherwise they wouldn’t vote so stupidly This has been one of their character flaws besides having no value of human life— They have historically not only voted like imbecilies but have also historically idolize the absolute worst society has to offer
