Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday urged other countries to follow Nigeria’s lead and ban Twitter, as well as Facebook, claiming the reason he didn’t do it during his presidency is because of outreach from Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
Trump issued a statement congratulating Nigeria for blocking Twitter on Friday after the social media platform deleted a tweet by Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, with Trump incorrectly claiming Buhari was “banned” by Twitter.
Trump, who was permanently banned from the platform after the Jan. 6 attack, said “more COUNTRIES should ban Twitter and Facebook,” while predicting competitors to the two companies will “emerge and take hold.”
That won’t work Boss. But keep givin’ em’ hell.

There’s a reason it’s called Twitter and it’s not about Tweeting it’s about Twits. Another laugh to the bank trick on gullible people desperate to feel connected and heard. All social media is a profiling advertising platform not about communication or free speech forums. It’s all logistics gathering. Your every post and photo is mined for trending elements be them ideas or Political or Religious affiliations to the color of your hair the clothes you wear or the cars you drive. You are providing FREE to them valuable and marketable content and they have you addicted believing you are more connected with reality and gleaning REAL information in your virtual social circles . It should not just be banned it should never have been.
