  1. Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving guy! Now he’s got time on his hands and can travel to China to help them fix their problems.

  2. I love watching college and pro sports, it’s my escape from the day to day grind. When players and teams get political they steal my joy. When teams and players start with racial divide conversation it saddens me and I don’t care to watch any longer. As a young boy living in the suburbs of a large city I wasn’t exposed to very many people of color. When I started to participate in citywide sports competition I competed against boys of various cultural backgrounds. I didn’t see them as different than me, I viewed them as competitors and friends. We always shook hands after a game and congratulated each other on the efforts we contributed. Today, thanks to politicians and the main street media sports has turned into part of the divide and conquer mentality. Playing two anthems at the first football season left me sad enough that I did not watch a pro football game for the entire season last year. When the mlb pulled the all star game from Atlanta I was saddened and I haven.t watched a baseball game since. I will not let the remarks of one player deny me the pleasure of watching the NBA playoffs.

    1. I feel the same way, it took all my joy away and soured major league sports. There is still the little league and local high school teams. They are really fun to watch and the politics hasn’t creeped in.
I am watching my son and the other little kids play ball and I love it! Give it a try it may bring back some of the joy : )

  3. Man. Is he a sissy. Somebody told him he was to good to be civil, and professional. This is why sports is in the toilet. But young black kids see this and think it’s cool. Shame. He’s a self serving punk.

  4. What goes around, comes around. Glad he is out, he has failed to be a good role model for anyone. Move on James.
