Suspects Used “Molotov cocktails” To Ignite Fire Inside Store In Prince George’s County

On Saturday, Prince George’s County Fire Department are investigating a fire started by multiple suspects using “Molotov cocktails” at a local commercial convince store on the 6400 block of Auth Road in Camp Springs.

At about 1:10 AM, Prince George’s County Public Safety Communications received a 911 call reporting multiple people had started a fire inside a convenience store in the 6400 block of Auth Road and then fled the scene. The store was occupied and operating at the time of the incident. Prince George’s County Fire/EMS units responded to the scene and reported a working fire inside of the building.

The preliminary investigation revealed that an unknown suspect used two devices known as “Molotov cocktails” to ignite a fire inside the store.

The suspect appeared to be assisted by multiple accomplices. The Prince George’s County Police Department canvassed the area but the suspects escaped.
