These stores plan to keep requiring masks for now

While a number of states immediately embraced new guidelines from the CDC that say fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear masks indoors or out in most situations, some businesses are taking a wait-and-see approach.

Labor groups and others warned that employees at stores, restaurants and other businesses could be left exposed to the coronavirus from customers and could be forced into the unwanted role of “vaccination police.”

The CDC guidance unveiled Thursday still calls for masks in crowded indoor settings such as airports, planes, buses, trains, hospitals, prisons and homeless shelters, and says people should obey local and state regulations.

Several major chains have said they would keep mask mandates in place for now while reviewing the new guidance.

    1. LOL there is no sign on the door and I walked in unmasked this morning and thought I was in the twilight zone with everyone face diapered.

  1. Simple – only shop in stores that do not require a mask. The lack of $ will bring the rest of them around.

  2. Was at Berlin home Depot this morning, maskless, as were the vast majority of people there… even some employees were maskless. Not a word said.

  3. Do you realize how many stores have all this stock pile of mask. They have to sell as many as possible before they let the fear loose!!!! It is all about the $$$$$$
