The President of the Maryland State Fraternal Order of Police fears this dark cloud looming over-policing is contributing to more officers turning in their badge and less people signing up to wear one.
“We can’t lose sight we have had police officers who have conducted themselves in a way that has caused people to lose trust,” said Boatwright. “But highlighting those situations on a daily basis without stating the fact that for the most part our police officers are out here doing the right thing has caused a significant decline in recruitment efforts. This has caused a significant increase in the lack of retention for our police officers. Our veteran police officers are voting with their feet. What does that mean? They’re leaving. They’re leaving in droves.”

The government is behind this. They are allowing these calls for police reform to go forward in order to have a police force that will obey without question instructions to shoot American citizens or run over them with tanks like in Tienemen Square for any type of dissent. But first they must get rid of the current police force who are actually here to protect US before they can bring in the police force that is designed to protect the GOVERNMENT. Communist playbook.
