Ocean City Police Arrest 2 Individuals from a CDS Distribution Case

Ocean City, MD: During the month of February, the Narcotics Unit initiated a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) distribution investigation into a local individual, Brandon Hudson, who was reportedly selling cocaine at various local bars in Ocean City and from his residence.

Based on the three-month-long investigation, detectives obtained search warrants for Hudson’s person, vehicle, and Ocean City residence. During the morning hours of April 23, 2021, members of the Narcotics Unit executed the three search warrants. The search resulted in the seizure of approximately 1 ounce of cocaine, 1/3 pound of marijuana, and almost $13,000 in cash. As a result, Hudson and his roommate, Erika Pletcher, were arrested and charged with the following:

  • Brandon Maurice Hudson: 32 years of age, Snow Hill, MD, possession with intent to distribute schedule I narcotic, CDS: possession- not marijuana, and CDS: Possession with intent to distribute. Hudson was seen by a Maryland District Court Commissioner and held on a $10,000 bond.
  • Erika Christine Pletcher: 25 years of age, Ocean City, MD, CDS: possession- not marijuana. Pletcher was seen by a Maryland District Court Commissioner and released on her own personal recognizance.
