Even as left-leaning New York City parents organize against the misnamed “anti-racism” indoctrination in their kids’ schools, the Biden administration is marshalling federal power behind pushing this pernicious nonsense nationwide.
As Stanley Kurtz notes, the federal Education Department just released a draft rule reaffirming President Joe Biden’s determination to push Critical Race Theory in US schools. It would give priority for US history and civics grants to programs “that incorporate racially, ethnically, culturally and linguistically diverse perspectives” and specifically praises both Critical Race Theory king Ibram X. Kendi and The New York Times’ factually challenged “1619 Project” as where it wants to go.
Of course, Biden has repeatedly talked up the idea that America is full of “systemic racism,” a foundational tenant of CRT. In his first week in office, he rescinded a Trump-era ban on training that assumes an individual is racist based on race, gender or nationality (i.e., that all white people are oppressors and all people of color are their victims, another core teaching of CRT). His first day, he disavowed the report of the Trump 1776 Commission, which offered a more balanced view of US history in response to the Times’ 1619 propaganda, a project slammed by many of the top academic specialists in US history.
And now his Education Department has begun dangling federal grants to further the same lessons, money that state bureaucrats will surely grab without bothering to let the public know what poison it means pushing.
NYC teacher Paul Rossi warned that such a curriculum “reinforces the worst impulses we have as human beings: our tendency toward tribalism and sectarianism that a truly liberal education is meant to transcend.”

I wouldn’t send a child to public schools nowadays for no amount of money!! I’d rather have stupid kids than indoctrinated ones programmed to hate America, themselves because they are White and blame everything on racism because of White supremacist. I’m much prefer they couldn’t read or write than have that garbage shoved down their throats in school.
