A Bladensburg Police officer faces multiple sex charges after authorities say he sexually abused a minor in Baltimore County, according to the Bladensburg Police Department.
LoQune Brown is charged with two counts of third-degree sex offense, two counts of sex abuse of a minor, and two counts of second-degree assault.
The Baltimore County Police Department said Brown sexually assaulted a juvenile relative twice between July and Novemeber 2020.
According to Bladensburg Police, Brown, an eight-year veteran on the Community Action Team, was put on administrative leave March 9, a day after the department learned about the investigation. The department said the investigation centered around one allegation.
Brown was off-duty and not within Bladensburg jurisdiction when the incident happened, the department said.
