Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is seeking to end his running feud with President Trump, which escalated this weekend when the former president insulted him as a “dumb son of a bitch” and a “stone-cold loser” for not backing his false claims about the election.
Trump’s comments were especially stinging as they were widely publicized and came one day after Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.), the chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), gave Trump a “Champion of Freedom Award” at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.
Trump lashed out at McConnell the following Saturday evening at a Republican donor event, where he blamed him for Republicans losing the White House.
“If that were Schumer instead of this dumb son of a bitch Mitch McConnell they would never allow it to happen. They would have fought it,” Trump said, referring to newly minted Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) and the election results.
McConnell on Tuesday wanted no part in the food fight with Trump and said he’s more focused on trying to unify the Republican Party to oppose what he calls President Biden’s “far-left” agenda.
Problem is that there are more Trump supporters in the Republican party than the rest of the party is willing to acknowledge.
If he doesn’t get his head out of his @$$ and start working for the people instead of the political collective, there will never be any reconciliation and the dumbocrats will ruin this country!
My thoughts: After 4 years of a highly popular President, Mitch should have absolutely thrown his support 100% behind President Trump because Trump voters WERE the Republican Party but also more than that. They were Independents and former Democrats. American Patriots.
I have no sympathy for Mitch. He will reap what he sowed.

Well Trump has it right, he is a dumb son of a bitch. Being politically correct is a crock, would do MC Connell well to learn that.
Why don’t you ALL face the music, HIM, and the Majority of the Rep. Party are just too damn old. You all sit on your asses until the election and bitch, yet when you go to the polls, you vote for the same damn deadwood ALL THE TIME. McConnell thinks he’s the president but Trump put him in his place. Rightfully so. Anyone who wants the job should run for it. McConnell being a cripple who took enough graph to be a millionaire on a 250,000$ salary, took this as a slap in the face so he and the other crook, Paul Ryan, blew the chances the GOP had to cleanse the House and Senate. Now, Schummer, Pelosi, and Bidumb are running amok because of sheer numbers, the reason for the clusterF%^&K at the border.

The same with Md. politics. Mike Miller, the reason why some animals eat their young, was touted as a great legislator. What a crock. He and Steny Hoyer and other Dumbocratic pricks, set this State back a hundred years in thinking. Md. had a ‘AAA’ bond rating when I was a young man. Look at it now. This tells you all you need to know. Then there’s the mighty Eastern Shore Delegation, a conglomeration of idiots like Otto and Carrozza who collect without effort. They backed thru silence every move Hoggan made during this epidemic. Still as Hoggan has been investigated for misuse of government funds they still hold he’s our Savior.
