To Whom it may Concern,
Yesterday, I went to my local North Salisbury Blvd 21801 Pep Boys store to price up a set of tires and to have at least one tire replaced on a wheel from my son’s car which had suffered a flat while he was at work. I entered the store without a mask because I have been vaccinated recently and am now past my waiting period. I was asked if I had a mask when I entered by a cashier to whom I exclaimed, “I don’t need one, I’m vaccinated” and proceeded to the Service desk to inquire about the tires and installation.
The person at the service desk immediately asked me to put on a mas as a “Courtesy”, to which I replied, “I’m vaccinated now and don’t need one”. The reply was puzzling, as it was “I’ve been vaccinated, too, but I’m asking you to wear one as a courtesy”.
I said I needed 4 tires, but was told I’m not allowed in the store without a mask, So I promptly left and was properly served at my local Salisbury, MD Wal Mart without having to wear a mask, as they understood we are now entering a new phase where a very many of us are getting vaccinated.
My question back to this person should have been, “Then, why are YOU wearing a mask after being vaccinated?” His reply, I expect would have been he’s just “following orders” from Corporate or the year and a half long overtired “Governor’s Mandate” which is being proven across the Country to be totally ineffective in stopping a now endemic disease according to both the CDC and the WHO.
I like shopping at Pep Boys, but I did visit Auto Zone and Advance Auto Parts as well as Walmart Tire & Lube without hassle, and I guess in the future will be limited to going to those stores instead. Food Lion has been eqally accommodating of me for the last 8 months, as I do have lung issues which prevent any breathing restrictions for any length of time.
If you will be changing your Store Policy any time soon, I would like you to let me know so I can resume my patronage, but until then, have a nice day.
Sam’s club is the best place to buy tires. Every time they rotate. they balance, and the girls and guys are really good at it,
I too have been wondering when this mask mandate will be officially lifted. What is the point of being vaccinated if you still have to wear a mask? It’s just stupid. I went into a Giant but was asked to leave if I didn’t put on a mask, took out my card but no matter.
This world is nuts.
It’s unlawful for anyone to ask for your medical records unless they are treating you as a medical professional and have your permission to access that private information. Giant nor Acme doesn’t qualify for that. And, you have a 4th Amendment right to privacy in your personal papers on top of that.
They just don’t want your business and are afraid of a tyrannical Governor who has no right to your info, either.

Just because you are vaccinated doesn’t mean much. You can still get it and carry it. Just more unlikely. Don’t be an ass and follow the rules of the store. Hopefully soon mask mandates will be lifted.
doesnt matter that you got vaccinated or not you can still get and give the covid (that is if you think it might be a threat) Me I not getting the shots they arent safe and have killed some people already but thats your drug companies. dont forget that you might become sterile also oops wasnt suppose to tell you that but you dont really care RIGHT
Being vaccinated does not stop you from catching Covid. And it does not stop you from spreading it. It is supposed to give you a less severe case. Do what you want. I will walk away from, anyone I see without a mask, even if the masks really do not work.
I don’t like wearing a mask but I do so because it makes other people comfortable. Take your head out of your a$$ and put a mask on you moron. A little bit of consideration goes a long way.

they don’t have signs requiring clothes, so they must be optional. go without clothes and they will not miss the mask!
