President Joe Biden may have illegally ordered the government to stop funds for construction on the wall on the southern border, as the Government Accountability Office (GAO) investigates the decision
Biden issued an executive order on his first day as president to pause in government spending on the wall, keeping his campaign promise to end the border security project.
Last week, 40 Senate Republicans accused Biden of violating the law and making the migrant crisis on the southern border worse.
“In the weeks that followed, operational control of our southern border was compromised and a humanitarian and national security crisis has ensued,” the senators wrote in a letter to the GAO requesting a ruling on Biden’s questionable action.
Stopping construction of the border wall was breaking the law. The wall is laying on the ground already paid for, jobs lost it would have slowed the migration and saved lives.. The wall would have given more checks as to if their were any criminals,, those carrying the covid 19 virus, and checking the children for presence of relatives with them or if they were being brought in by drug traffic thugs for payment. Mexico had agreed to the wall good for both sides. Biden broke the law on an impulse to gain media attention,and more hatred directed at Trump and following Pelosi’s & others lead. Biden is a puppet and easily led like a dog on a leash.
