Ford Makes Massive Announcement Just 2 Months After Biden Takes Office, Will Be Moving Out of America

United Auto Workers (UAW) warned Ford employees in Ohio that the company plans to move the construction of a new vehicle to Mexico, according to a letter made public this week.

UAW Vice President Gerald Kariem addressed a letter to Ford workers in Avon Lake, Ohio, in which he accused the automaker of violating a contract agreement with the union with its plans to build a next-generation vehicle in Mexico instead of the Ohio Assembly Plant (OHAP).

The letter, sent with the union’s letterhead, cited a 2019 four-year contract deal in which Ford committed $900 million for the assembly plant in Avon Lake, including adding production for a next-generation product in 2023.

The letter continued saying that the company has invested more than $185 million into the Avon Lake plant and retained 100 jobs there since 2019.

Ford had announced in November that it intends to build another electric vehicle in Cuautitlan, Mexico, in addition to the Mustang Mach-E, Reuters reported.

  1. No problem, I will never purchase another Ford product from them again.
I actually stopped being a customer after I purchased my last lemon, a 1985 Ford Thunderbird.
After a 2 months the Cruise control switch fell off in my hands. Ford wouldn’t honor their warranty.
Then Starter problems after a few years, which is common to all Fords!
Since then I have owned only Toyota’s and Honda’s. They seem to stand the test of time with few
problems. Factories are also located in North Carolina and South Caroline.

    1. Don’t know why you could blame Ford for moving out of the U.S. Biden is going to raise their taxes, and big government EPA and OSHa will fine them every chance they get, what incentive do they have to stay? They were the only manufacturer to not take bailout money during Obama years, and higher taxes to support the deadbeat dems is their reward!

  2. The Great sucking sound south is back on track with democrats back in office expect allot more to follow!!!

  3. Democrats killing American jobs and sending them to foreign countries as they always do … oh and thanks for gas prices and high electric bills
