The Maryland State Police Berlin Barrack, in partnership with the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office and the Ocean City Police Department, will be conducting DUI saturation patrols in support of the St. Patrick’s Day holiday.
The initiative, which will take place between Saturday, March 13 and Wednesday, March 17, will target the US Rt. 50, MD Rt. 90 and MD Rt. 528 (Coastal Highway) corridors. These routes have been identified as having a high volume of impaired driving-related incidents.
Maryland State Police always ask that motorists never drink and drive and always plan ahead to have a designated driver or utilize public transportation when consuming alcohol.
