‘Prisoners do not pay taxes. Taxpayers pay for their every need’
Senate Democrats rejected efforts on Saturday to keep the forthcoming pandemic-related economic stimulus out of the hands of imprisoned criminals and immigrants who are living in the United Stated illegally.
Prior to approving a whopping $1.9 trillion stimulus package — which is stuffed with items completely unrelated to COVID-19 relief — Republicans proposed numerous amendments that would have more responsibly directed aid at those Americans who need it most.
What did Democrats reject?
Republicans Sens. Bill Cassidy (La.), Ted Cruz (Texas), and Tom Cotton (Ark.) introduced an amendment that would have prevented “any individual who is incarcerated in a Federal or State prison” from receiving stimulus checks.
Democrats rejected the effort, 50-49, which would have saved taxpayers nearly $2 billion.
NONE should be going to prisoners or Illegals PERIOD !!!!
About 3/4 of prisoners’ payments will quickly end up swallowed by
the government for unpaid court costs, child welfare payments, student
loans, and unpaid taxes, and by unpaid lawyers. It’s so generous of us!
Of course , Dems have faith that all of the recipients will vote Democrat.
It sure does look like vote buying.
So how do this fit in with child molesters, rapists, Harvey Weinstein and former Balt mayor Pugh being rewarded for their crimes and perverted actions. But then Sniffer Joe and Heels Up Harris can relate to them I imagine.
The gang members in prisons will threaten the weaker prisoners for their money and they will get it. Prisoners use an institutional money voucher system to send money outside of the prison. Gang member A makes the weaker/ older inmates fill out a voucher and make it payable to another gang member on the outside. The gang member on the outside then deposits the money into the account of the gang member on the inside. Happens every day. This is why inmates never try to reveal how much money they have in their accounts.
The crooked Govt worries about how much stimulus we get & cuts the amount to Nothing , while they
don’t care that they give Billions to those in Prison & Illegals !!!!!! Treason !!!!!!
Illegal immigrants can’t get checks to begin with. You need a social security number. This is just pandering to racist morons.

So how is that going to work? Are they going to send the checks to their last known mailing address? Those checks will be signed and cashed and that money will disappear.
