Maryland’s six casinos generated $126,208,025 in gaming revenue during February of 2021, Maryland Lottery and Gaming announced Friday.
The total represents a decrease of $25,066,312 (-16.6%) compared to the February 2020 total of $151,274,337. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, four casinos are limited to 50% capacity; MGM National Harbor and Horseshoe Casino are limited to 25% capacity.
Casino gaming contributions to the state in February 2021 totaled $53,194,580, a decrease of $9,679,332 (-15.4%) compared to the $62,873,922 contributed to the state in February 2020.
Contributions to the Education Trust Fund (ETF) in February 2021 were $38,658,856, a decrease of $8,506,668 (-18.0%) compared to the $47,165,524 in ETF contributions during February 2020. Casino gaming revenues also support the communities and jurisdictions where the casinos are located, Maryland’s horse racing industry, and small, minority- and women-owned businesses.

A little money generated is better than no money. Someone should mention that to Rickie. Yeah im still here and the season is coming. All remember the new fiscal year starts July 1 so may and june dont count from a fiscal perspective.
What transpires in fiscal year 2022 (this july to the end of June 2022) greatly impacts how things will go next Summer.
