A North Carolina K-9 handler was caught on video lifting a dog by its leash and slamming the animal into a police vehicle, a disturbing incident that sparked outrage in the community and prompted an investigation.“We’re good. No witnesses,” another person at the scene was heard saying while the K-9 handler pulled the dog into the vehicle.
Salisbury Police Chief Jerry Stokes said the animal, Zuul, was not harmed during the incident, but he could not give details on the investigation. The officer has been “administratively separated” from Zulu while authorities conduct a review, Stokes said.
This officer should be FIRED immediately and the dog given to someone who cares for animals. They should be trained and not ABUSED!!! He is a poor excuse for a law enforcement officer.
I support the police, but this is WRONG! I have a German Shepherd and when I saw what this guy did it made me sick. He is too cruel to handle this animal.
