White House press secretary Jen Psaki sidestepped when questioned Monday about the administration’s failure to release virtual visitor logs as promised.
Asked during a briefing why the White House had not yet released the logs, Psaki declined to provide an answer, saying sarcastically, “He’s meeting with members of the Senate virtually today.
“There, I’ve released it for you. What else would you like to know?”
Psaki was asked the question hours after a Politico report noted that five weeks into his administration, the Biden White House has yet to make good on its commitment to release the logs.
Daily schedules for the president and Vice President Kamala Harris are also not posted online, the White House comment line is shut down and the White House website doesn’t list citizen petitions, the report also found.
The administration has said it intends to make the visitor logs public, but it will not reveal the names of people attending virtual meetings — a key mode of communication during the COVID pandemic.
Those records are the People’s records. Of course,
the People in the Biden-Harris scheme are only
good for one thing.
Government in the dark isn’t good government. It looks like that’s where we are today.
We’ve been in the dark since this Jackass walked in the white house.
