Republican Sen. Bill Cassidy (La.) warned Sunday the Republican Party will face continued election losses if the GOP maintains its loyalty to former President Donald Trump.
Cassidy was unanimously censured by the Louisiana Republican Party earlier this month after voting to convict Trump at the former president’s second impeachment trial. Cassidy was one of seven GOP senators who voted “guilty.”
Speaking on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Cassidy explained the Republican Party faced critical losses under Trump’s leadership.
“Over the last four years, we lost the House of Representatives, the Senate, and the presidency,” Cassidy said. “That has not happened in a single four years under a president since Herbert Hoover.”
Cassidy added that “campaigns are about winning” — and if Republicans want to win in the future, they must look beyond Trump.
In fact, Cassidy said losing will be the result in 2022 and 2024 if Republicans continue to “idolize” Trump.
Whose puppet is he, we wonder.
He needs to see that his fellow LA senator Kennedy understands the current political landscape. He does not. Primary him.
The fact that this clown was being interviewed on CNN was enough for me to see that he is a RINO just like the Fat A$$ Larry Hogan.
The fact that the La. GOP unanimously voted to censure this RINO speaks volumes. He’s lucky that he just got re-elected to the Senate in November because he is safe for another 6 years. He is done after that because La. is done with him. I wish there was a way to run his coward a$$ out of there. What is up with all these elected physicians? Why are they so Liberal? Do they want socialized medicine so that they would be forced to work for peanuts? You would think they would keep a large distance away from Democrats!

It cracks me up how some grown men are so jealous of President Donald J. Trump. They go all out to get before a camera for attention because they have never done anything on the job that warrants being newsworthy. Funny stuff right there. Reminds me of our fat boy working out of Annapolis.
Now wait a minute. Hogan is not fat. He’s just big boned.
He should maybe ask his constituents what they think. After all he supposed to be representing them. But as with the rest of our established congress, he’s a career politician looking out for himself.
