Baltimore activist suggests paying killers not to kill

‘I’ve talked to these people … I know who the hustlers are,’ the activist said

An activist in Baltimore, Md., has come up with a unique solution to solving the city’s high murder rate — paying killers not to kill, according to a report.

“I can relate to the shooters, guess what they want? They want money,” Tyree Moorehead, the activist told FOX 45 of Baltimore.

Moorehead, who the Baltimore Sun reported spent more than a decade in prison on a second-degree murder conviction tied to a shooting at 15, suggests certain measures the city has taken to stop the bloodshed aren’t enough.

  1. Sounds great.
Murderers are well known for their excellent impulse control, calm tempers, and rational thinking.
    What could go wrong?

  2. until they decide what you’ve given them isnt enough. what no mansion, no maserati? how about they get paid in kilowatts or lead?

  3. Dumbest thing I have ever heard. If they are killers that means they have already killed. So you want to reward them for killing? If this is suppose to prevent them from killing, what will be the punishment if they do kill? Fire them? If they need or want money it’s a very simple solution. GET A JOB! The problem is they don’t want to work they just want materialistic things so they can seem cool to other thugs.
